Biography
Personal name Miyake Motojirō, and used the name Hokkyū in his later years. He was a relative of Miyake Terukatsu, a pupil of Yokoya Sōyo II. He worked at Nagasaki, and died at Amakusa-jima in th province of Higo. (B.W Robinson, 1980)
