This calliope wagon was built built during the winter of 1920-21 at the Denver winter quarters of the Sells-Floto Circus by Charlie Luckey and Leonard Aylesworth. The wagon carries a thirty-three whistle steam calliope built by Thomas J. Nichol. The Two Jesters Calliope was used in street parades by Sells-Floto and Hagenbeck-Wallace circuses from 1921 through 1925. From 1926 to 1932 the wagon was stored in the winter quarters of the American Circus Corporation at Peru, Indiana.
