Used own staff & contract photographers; bought negatives from independent photographers. T.C. Roche was chief staff photographer from 69. Edward was pioneer daguerreotype maker & manufacturer & dealer in photo material; B. 19, D. 88. Henry was civil engineer, inventor, manufacturer of photo supplies, amateur photoggrapher; he was in charge of the manufacturing division of company.
