When Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presented under canvas in first half of the 20th century, the logistics of the traveling show were so finely tuned that even water was carefully rationed out. A bucket of water was delivered daily to each performer on the circus lot. This bucket belonged to flying trapeze performer and, later, General Manager of the Ringling show, Arthur Concello. An extraordinary performer, Art was even more highly respected for his business acumen and efficiency in running the show. He added innovations like seat wagons, which made setting up the tent more efficient and he choreographed stunts for Cecil B. DeMille's film, The Greatest Show on Earth.
