This colossal male statue wears an Egyptian-style kilt and stands with his left leg forward as in Egyptian sculpture. At the bottom of the kilt’s sash is the Egyptian goddess Hathor with her cow ears and long curled hair. At the time of this sculpture she symbolized queenship on Cyprus.
