Bracelets ending in snake heads are derived from ancient Greece where they sometimes had multiple coils. The snakes on this bracelet face one another as on other Cypriot bracelets. The eyes, slit mouths, blunt noses, and rounded jaws form their heads and snake skin continues part way down the hoop.
