Provenancea three panel screen appears on page 46 of Georgian Court, an Estate of the Gilded Age, in a photograph of the library at Georgian Court, the Lakewood, NJ home of George Jay Gould. Most likely, a portion of the house's contents were sold at auction and John Ringling probaby purchased the screen at that sale.
