Toilet services like this one were used in the elaborate morning rituals undertaken by wealthy members of society. Though some items are now missing from it, this service contains over thirty pieces for both the toilet and the breakfast meal. Among the toilet items are the clothes brush, pincushion, and the various boxes and bottles for cosmetics. The breakfast items include the pitcher, serving bowls and platters, candlestick and snuffer, saltcellar, and the place setting with a knife, fork and spoon.
